| College Highlights - Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania
with an A.B. in Political Science. While there I was a member of the Sphinx
Honorary Activity Society, Kite and Key Society and President of Sigma Alpha
Mu Fraternity. Graduated from Albany Law School, Union University in 1962 with a juris doctorate degree. Class president second and third years. Marriage and Family Highlights - Kathleen (you knew her as Honey) and I were married in 1960. We have four children - Haley Jo, Mark, Ric and Jill and five grandchildren. We must have done something right as they recently threw a 40th anniversary party for us, in addition a trip to Tahiti which we'll be returning from on November 7. Career Highlights - I have been engaged in the private practice of law in the Albany, New York area since 1962. The current firm is Kaplowitz, DeAngelis & Whiting in Delmar, New York. Having served as attorney for the Town of Bethlehem has kept me busy for 22 years. Previously, I was counsel to the Town Zoning Board and police prosecutor. Four years as an Albany County Legislator was a rewarding experience. On the political side, I was Chairman of the Town of Bethlehem Republican Committee 18 years which explains two open-heart operations. I also served as a member of the New York State Republican Committee for four years. Currently I am Counsel to the Hudson River Black River Regulating District, a New York State public corporation associated with flood control. Travel/Sports Highlights - We travel when able. Honey plays a lot of golf while I am working so hard so she beats me on a regular basis. Anything else that you may want to say - We are not sure if we're going to see you at the reunion as Honey expects to be in Florida. I hope to make it. Thanks to Bob Merkert for all of his hard work.
