Military Highlights - Served 2 years in the U .S. Army -received an Honorable Discharge.

Career Highlights - From 1958-1986 I was employed in the Automobile Industry with General Motors, Ford Motor Co. and Toyota USA. During the last 12 years in this industry I was a Service Director.

In 1986 I started my own business as an Independent Auto Insurance Adjuster and I continued this until a physical disability caused me to retire in 1994.

Civic Highlights - In 1988 I joined the Warwick Lions Club and I became president in 1995. I was able to secure a $10,000 financial grant through Senator Joseph Holland to support the Lions Quest program in the Warwick Schools. This program teaches the students how to say NO to drugs and alcohol and to give service to their community.

Also as president (1995-1997) I was given the 100% Presidents' Award for the years of 1996 & 1997 from the President of Lions International. I also received the Robert J. Up1inger award in 1997 for outstanding community service. This was awarded by the New York State and Bermuda Lion Foundation. I have really enjoyed giving to the community of Warwick -a wonderful little town!

Another highlight while living in Warwick was being a member of the Warwick Valley Chorale for 6 years. Along with our annual Christmas and Spring Concerts, one year we also did a Christmas concert with the Gaitlin Brothers at the Paramount Theatre in Middletown and a Christmas Concert at West Point with the Cadets and Band. The chorale was also invited to sing at Carnegie Hall in NYC with four other choral groups from the local area. I must say we were pretty good and I was happy to be able to give of my time and voice to this venture. Lloyd Bremmer would have been proud!

Personal Highlights - In February 1982, the BEST thing happened to me -I got married to Ginny who is a wonderful and supportive wife. We are planning to move to Arizona when she retires from the Clarkstown School District in 2003.

Memories of NHS -
· Football, Baseball, Wrestling, and the Shot Put.
· I'll also remember singing in the All County Chorus for 2 years- Lloyd Bremmer could surely get the best out of us.
· The long walk up 3rd Avenue from the Broadway bus stop every morning.
· The hours at Schmidt's after school waiting for the bus home to Palisades.
· And oh yes! The girls, the girls, and the girls!

My Motto -

HAPPINESS -YOU CAN'T HAVE IT, UNLESS YOU  GIVE IT AWAY
